The Lakeland Livestock is a new auction mart facility that first opened its doors in 2002. The mart forms the core of Lakeland Agricultural Business Centre. There are now several agri- related business’s on the 16 acre site all designed to meet the business needs of the modern Lakeland farmer. There is even a public learning centre and computer suite.
The new mart is going from strength to strength, selling top quality sheep and cattle from noted livestock farms throughout the Lake District, West Cumbria and The Solway Plain. Our livestock has a reputation of quality and hardiness and continues to attract purchasers of prime, store and breeding stock from throughout the UK.
